The Problem
Came First.
In 2024, 841 attacks on houses of worship were recorded in the United States — up 33% year over year. 54% of American churches now rely on armed plainclothes volunteers for security.
There was one problem nobody had solved: when law enforcement arrives at an active threat, your armed security team is indistinguishable from the threat itself. Vests are too bulky to carry daily. Badges don't read past 15 feet. Verbal ID fails under stress.
The gap was real. Nothing on the market closed it. SecuFlag was designed to.

"I didn't design SecuFlag as a product looking for a problem. I identified the gap on my own team and built the solution I couldn't find anywhere else."
Michael Leich is a church security team member, treasurer, and IT director at Hope City Church in Allen Park, Michigan.
Armed, plainclothes, and fully aware of what happens when law enforcement arrives and can't tell defender from threat — he developed SecuFlag to close that gap for his own team first.
